The number of companies that see themselves as innovative is decreasing. This is the conclusion reached by a recent Bertelsmann study from May 2023. In the past three years, many companies have focused on their core business due to the crisis and have still not broken out of this mode. With the rapid development of AI models, the economy is experiencing a special momentum that should be used. Current examples from Bosch and dm, which have introduced their own generative AI language models internally, show how innovative technology transfer works.
The tense situation on the domestic and world markets calls for action. We would like to discuss with you what it now takes for German medium-sized businesses to become active creators of innovation and technology leadership again.
We therefore cordially invite you to actively discuss with us on November 15th the topic of “The courage to innovate: How German medium-sized companies are regaining technological leadership”.
In order to shape the future in a more informed way, a personal exchange of experiences at eye level is required. This evening will focus on an interactive discussion in an exclusive group with editorial staff, experts and leaders. The aim is an intensive, confidential exchange at decision-making level from different industries in the Stuttgart metropolitan region and the surrounding area in a stylish setting.
We start with an exciting look behind the scenes at the world's leading cable manufacturer LAPP. Afterwards, Hans-Jürgen Jakobs, author at Handelsblatt, will guide you through the evening. At the get-together, the discussions can be further deepened and new contacts can be made.
