FEMALE ALLSTAR BOARDROOM SESSION

With the Female Allstar Board initiative, Handelsblatt and Bain & Company are creating a unique platform for women in leadership positions. The enrichment of companies through female leaders is scientifically proven, yet it is still not a lived standard in many organizations. With the Female Allstar Board, we are not only making a statement in the business world but also sending a strong signal to young, ambitious women - the leaders of tomorrow. Each year, five top female decision-makers in Germany are honored and appointed to the Female Allstar Board (FAB). Additionally, a network of outstanding female leaders - the Female Rising Stars  - is being established, with the goal of increasing their presence and visibility and thereby promoting diversity in the German business landscape.

On March 18, we invited the current Female Allstar Board 2024 to a joint board meeting. Together, we explored how the award winners could collectively tackle the key challenges on the agenda of German companies. We discussed the following key topics with leading female leaders:

 1: Back from Recession – How to spur growth 

How can German companies respond strategically to geopolitical uncertainties? What opportunities and risks arise from political and economic changes?

 2: The Digital Race: Leveraging AI as a Driver for Business Growth 

How can artificial intelligence create tangible added value for companies?

 3: Values under Pressure 

Does Trump's political orientation also influence the values of German companies? Are values such as sustainability and diversity becoming less important for companies, and how can they be prioritized despite other pressing issues?

We appreciated the opportunity to explore these questions together with the award winners.
